I had the opportunity to see the movie premier in Vaughn, Ontario. This was a new experience for me - many people looking nice promoting the movie, the director and several actors with many cameras pointed at them asking questions and taking pictures. and it looks cool but anyway, on to the review.
I thought it was very hard to follow being entirely silent, not that this cannot be a good concept in the future but general there was many times that would make it very easy to fall asleep, and I think I heard some snoring in the audience. The story is unclear to me because of the lack of words and the on screen words or sentences didn't help much either.
The cinematography was good but I personally thought the grainy filter was unnecessary and simple clear view would be better as it felt very armature and unfinished or thrown together. The action was good but I hoped there would be more to it than the romantic aspects. for the most part it feels like watching the intro to some movies that start off as silent except this one dragged on to the end and I couldn't wait to leave the theater when the credits rolled even though I had no where to be.
Overall I would give this a thumbs down. If you can miss this you will not miss much and I encourage to do so. There may be potential in this concept or even in the actors and director but this is not it. Skip this one.
