Online dating
I don't really know where else to write about this so I may start a series about this topic as my frustrations grow larger and no where to vent. My friends may experience some similarities but I think I am the only one taking this as far as I have. Unless they don't tell me, in which case this is very odd because I talk about it when ever possible.
Anyway, so maybe I should start with the background, the good, bad and ugly.
My first real introduction to online dating was asking my friend that claimed to have some success to set up my profile on POF, being a male it is a challenge to get things right so he choose good photos from my facebook pictures and even cropped them to show only myself. I didn't even know how to message girls so he helped me and not long after it was setup I had a conversation with his assistance at almost every step of the way.
Finally transitioned to getting a phone number and continued conversations, even made poor attempts at meeting but after some time was able to have a fun first date, then a second, and finally on the third I had my first kiss.
It was certainly romantic thinking back about it, sitting on lifeguard stand under the stars on a beachfront of a lake. Great, after this I was able to get my home alone when parents went on vacation and we had our time together for about a week. We were official and dated for around 8 months, but it is clear it wasn't meant to be. Even after a rebound we had issues and she found someone that she has been with ever since.
Moving on has been tough, the online dating landscape changed with new apps; tinder, okcupid taking place over where POF couldn't and even from the many dates I had discovered POF isn't known much anymore.
My very first tinder date, like very first kiss, is easy to remember. I was invited to do some yoga after some tea. it was great, very fun to try yoga and even though she was attractive, she didn't feel a connection and I think I met her again but don't remember the details and never third time.
To be continued...

What is wrong with taxing?
Well tax season is upon us again folks!
Get ready to diminish your income by 1/3 over to the government so that someone else can have it...
Who? well there are plenty of people we can make a whole list and post it, and maybe I will.
All I want to say here is my frustrations with overall tax complexity, I can program and this tax complexity is actually much more complex than the systems I create/maintain. How is this possible?
Purchasing a condo sure doesn't help but this is getting ridiculous.
So my options are down to either one frustrating shitty accountant that will do quick and dirty work to get you a refund or pay as little as possible but of course if you get audited he won't be of much help, on that topic he won't even help you pay the taxes that he himself told you that you need to pay!
Or the second option is get a more expensive company related accountant (still a freelance accountant though) that will charge double, triple or more and will do the due diligence, but then it seems you pay double or triple in taxes because they remain straight arrow.... WTF???
OK so basically, forget taxation, forget the whole thing let's just either life off the land, hide all the income to get nothing at all (somehow?) or... I dunno, too stressful this life. End it all.
Going to live in Thailand. K bye.
